June Episode Postponed

To our community:

Due to the current climate, we have decided to postpone broadcasting this month’s episode of By The Hour. We feel strongly that any public program not solely devoted to calling for justice for police violence against black populations, or speaking out against institutionalized racism is taking up valuable airspace. We also feel strongly that art can be a powerful tool in advancing this conversation and taking up the cause, but in this moment, the program we had been building for Thursday does not speak directly enough to these causes. We are proud of our commitment, in the June episode and moving forward, to amplifying traditionally marginalized voices, and pledge to continue this important work.

Please visit Civilization for a list of resources for supporting black communities & taking a stand against institutionalized racism.

In solidarity,

Lauren, Gabriel & the entire By The Hour team
